Tangiers’ history
is rich. Many civilizations and cultures passed from here. In 1923, Tangiers
was considered as having international status by foreign colonial powers. Thus, it
became a destination for many European and American diplomats, spies, writers
and businessmen. Paul Bowles, Williams S. Burroughs, Paulo Coelho and
many others visited the city and liked it. Their writings were influenced by
this magical city. Recently, films and actors like to come here. For instance, Inception movie featuring Leonardo Di Caprio, which appeared in 2010 chose the city to be used to film some of its scenes. Here are some videos that may describe some of the city's richness. I hope you will like it.
